Starting January 1, 2025, California’s new law (AB 2992) will require:
📜 Buyer’s agents must sign a buyer-broker agreement with their clients before submitting an offer on a property.
🔍 What’s different?Unlike the NAR rules (which require the agreement before touring homes), this law gives more time—but still makes it mandatory before making an offer.Buyer Agents contracts cannot be longer than 3 months.
