I saw an ad on cable TV about Reverse Mortgages with a famous actor. It painted a rosy picture of this product. This is to be expected as an advertisement trying to get people to use the product and associated services.
There are some negative aspects that should be highlighted along with the positives so that people can make fully informed decisions. Things like high fees and costs and that it may affect your Social Security Payments, etc....
